eg appoints new Head of Sales

eg solutions plc (“eg solutions”; LSE-AIM: EGS), the operations management software company, announces the strengthening of its sales team with the appointment of Mr. Robert Maxfield as Head of Sales.Robert Maxfield has joined eg solutions from Sopra Group, an IT services business (formerly named Sopra Newell & Budge), where for six years he held senior sales positions, developing new business within the retail financial services, City based financial services, telecommunications, utilities and local government markets. Prior to Sopra, Robert spent 13 years in sales positions at IMI Computing / Icom Solutions which became part of Keane, the global IT services group. At Sopra and Keane, he contributed to the development of £multi-million accounts with leading ‘blue chip’ organisations.
