eg solutions plc, the operations management software company, is celebrating twice following the recent shortlist announcement from the Financial Innovation Awards.
One of its major clients, Co-operative Financial Services, has been selected as a finalist in the Most Effective Cultural Transformation following a nomination submitted by eg and the company is itself in the running for the Most Innovative Financial Services Solution Award.
eg is a software applications company which invented an operations management suite called eg operational intelligence®. It provides historic, real-time and predictive Management Information for Managers and Team Leaders in process based customer service operations centres.
In October 2007 eg launched new versions of its eg operational intelligence® suite. Global organisations can now consistently manage their work and resources in their processing centres wherever they are in the world and irrespective of time zone, creating the virtual 24 hour operation.
Co-operative Financial Services and eg have been working together since 2004 on a number of projects which have implemented a consistent and transparent approach to performance management and achieved substantial cost savings.
Elizabeth Gooch, Chief Executive Officer of eg, said: “The Financial Innovation Awards have industry-wide recognition and we are delighted to be shortlisted again this year. We believe Co-operative Financial Services deserves to be recognised for the cultural transformation eg has certainly witnessed since 2004 when we first began working with the organisation.”
The Financial Innovation Awards, now in their eleventh year, are a showcase for the industry’s leading and unique innovators – people who bring exceptional results to financial services organisations and deliver quantifiable benefits to customers. With seven new categories introduced, this year is set to be the biggest yet.
The Award ceremony will take place on Wednesday 19 November 2008 at The New Connaught Rooms, Great Queen Street, London. Last year eg nominated another of its clients, Legal & General, for the Most Innovative Customer Service Programme Award which it subsequently won.
