eg solutions plc, the operations management software company, is pleased to announce that two of its clients have been shortlisted by the prestigious Financial Sector Technology (FST) Awards.

Legal & General With Profits and The Co-operative Financial Services, both nominated by eg, are finalists in the Best Use of IT in Insurance and Outsourcing Partnership of the Year respectively.

The FST Awards recognise excellence and innovation in information technology within the UK and European financial sector. Nominations were judged on the delivery of definable and significant business benefits, innovation and originality of application.

Legal & General With Profits implemented the eg operational intelligence® software suite in 2008. The project has been indentified by eg as an example of best practice implementation and use of its software and principles and delivered measurable and improved performance and efficiency.

The Co-operative Financial Services has been recognised for a successful outsourcing initiative with Capita to build sustainable, customer focused Life & Savings business. The project was supported by the eg operational intelligence® software suite which was used to provide management information (MI) for initial contractual benchmarking and to monitor ongoing service achievement.
