An eg work manager® Client PC requires a workstation with a specification similar to or better than the following:
- Intel or AMD 1Ghz (or better) processor
- Windows® XP Professional (SP2)
- 256 Mb RAM minimum
- LAN card (IP address does not need to be static)
- Colour monitor with XGA (1024 x 768) support
- Local or Network Printer
Server Environment
Two environments are normally recommended to support the eg principles of operational management® project in accordance with the accepted good IT practices:
- Production
- Pre-production
This design does not specify requirements for availabilty, recoverability or disaster recovery or environments that are required to support particular application management and support practices such as Systems Integration and Load Testing.
